Relationships that are good and quality lives for older adults is sex, according to a recent survey conducted by the AARP.
The study shows that sexual health is important for adults age 45 to 59, as well as for individuals in their 60s, 70s and older.
The survey, "Sexuality at mid-life and beyond," measured attitudes about sex and quality of life from about 1,700 adults 45 and older. Findings were published in the July/August issue of a magazine that AARP sends to its members.
Eighty-four percent of the respondents said they strongly disagree that sex is just for young people, and 71 percent say that they enjoy sex.
